spark plug wire melt
i have mac shortie equal length headers. if you stand in front of the car the plug wire that is second from the rear of the block on the passenger side is touching the header becase there is not much room for it and is starting to melt. what can i do/use to prevent this?

RE: spark plug wire melt
a new wire set that fits snugly, and then when you route the wires, point them so they dont hit, and tie them up with wireties or spark plug wire holders, and they wont move.
Ford Racing 9mm wires work very nicely, and cost under $50 everywhere

RE: spark plug wire melt
the boots on my spark plugs are perfect for every cylinder except the one. the boots them selves are very small and fit very snuggley on the spark plugs. i have taylor wires. for the one problem wire, the wire CANNOT be moved so that it clears the headers it just sits nicely on top which is a problem. can i get some sort of material to seperate the two from touching? i have tried other wires such as msd and the boots were way to long they were pretty much touching every tube on the header. what do you think?
