Why would you want a roots? Get a Kenne Bell or something similar, it's a twin screw, so it's positive displacement and functions just like a roots(in terms of performance), only it's an actual compressor, so it's much more efficient and makes more power for the same amount of boost.

Why not? Since they only boost at higher rpm when combustion pressure is dropping(and therefore the risk of detonation) you can actually run more boost and make more peak power safely, though you won't have the bottom end of positive displacement...which can be a benefit in a car with traction problems already. They make power in different ways and have advantages and disadvantages. Centri blowers can make fast cars too if everything is setup right. And consider, that if you already have traction problems, and you put a positive displacement blower on your car, all you're gonna end up with is an even worse traction problem. Just something to consider before you make that kinda investment

Just dont bother getting gears at all if you get a kb, save yourself from the mistake i made. Other then that i love my instant power but a centri will make higher hp numbers.

Yeah, keeping stockish gear ratios with a KB is a good idea. It'll help with the mileage too
