347 valvetrain problems!

Hey guys I havent put up a post in a long time but here we go. So I got my 347 running and driving but im having problems setting my rockers/lifters I have the Scorpion roller rocker 1.6 ratio and the cam and lifters (Hyd. roller lifters)came frome Flowtech Induction so im not thinking that they are bad, but I started with a 1/4 turn pre. load then lock the polly lock, drove it around for about 1 day and they started to make noise did it again 1/2 turn same thing happend did it again3/4 turn and it did it again. Now im at a full turn and its still making noise after about 3-4 days and the rockers are not comingloose. Im stumped,Iknow the roller rockers are goin to make a little noiselike when i first get done adj. them but then they start gettingway to noisy. I have the AFR 185cc heads and they can only handel up to 550 lift now the cam is 573/579 so i changed the valve springs and ther are not binding. So ifany one eles has had the problem PLEASE HELP!!!

maybe those rockers are just noisey? dont crank em down too far our you'll bottom them out and be in trouble.

if its not REALLY bad, set em at a half turn and forget it

Not adjusting em right. Twirl (LIGHTLY) the pushrod between the thumb and index finger, and tighten the nut very slowly until it just stops moving. This is zero lash. Turn the nut 1/2 to 3/4 turn after that, and tighten it down. This is when the lifter is at the lowest point in its travel, obviously.
