I'll up the fuel pressure a little bit,I think it is a tad below 38 at wot. The pump is a 255lph pump and I have 30lb injectors, so that isnt it lol. Thanks for all the help. If it keeps backfiring tomorow on my way to work ( I work at a dealership) I'll have one of the mechanics throw some new plugs in it and a new cap.

I'd leave the gap there. Personally, I'd still run a 3925 with only an 80hp shot, but the heat range isn't the problem. Other than Nitrous Works being a cheap kit, there is something else giving you problems. There are way too many variables for me to play doctor over the internet. But gapping the plugs to .050 is not the answer. I think he's probably spraying pretty small to get away with that.I can't seeany manufacturer recommending that.

Is it really a backfire or is it detonation? I usually don't hear people describe it as "some backfire". Usually you get ONE backfire and then you're either putting your intake tube back on or sweeping up parts.

i just installed my ****.... dont think it pulls hard? yea my 75 jets didnt feel too hard, but the 100s is a whole new story. the backfire is either a spark getting blown out, which i think is not the case.... or a lean condition, i vote that. i dont think your getting the fuel you need.... list all your mods, including what size injectors.. and do you have an adjustable fuel press. regulator?

That doesn't mean it isn't detonation. Also 8* is way too retarded. You should be at 12-14*.

It is a 331 stroker, trickflow twisted wedge heads, trickflow stage 2 cam, trickflow upper and lower, anderson power pipe, 30lbs injectors, 255lph fuel pump, etc. I do have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I set it to 38psi before I sprayed it but I think it might have dropped down a little below 38 while tightening it down.
