Default Nitrous gurus, need some help!

So I finally got my kit hooked up and did a pull. Had the 80hp jet in because I wanted to do a couple test runs before bumping it up. I did a 3rd to 4th pull on the highway and it ran like a bat out of hell, but I was getting some backfire. What could this be? Plugs are autolite 3924's, timing is at 8*, 255lph fuel pump. Any reason I am backfiring?

what are your plugs gapped at? are you running an aftermarket ignition on it? soundds to me like it wasnt firing on one or more plugs. you better pull them and check em. w/o msd i would gap em to 35 thou, with msd....................well mine are at 50 thou

whats your timing set at? you were using 93 octane fuel right? Were there any plugs fouled out when you pulled them.

nitrous can eat plugs that quick if not gapped right...are you running a colder heat range plug?

plus if you have the 6a...try gapping to .050

I am running autolite 3924 gapped at .035. Tell me what plugs you think I should run, lol. I think the plugs are fine, because at idle on the way home it was fine, didn't sound like it was missing at all

Hows your rotor cap lookin? changed it lately? what bout your wires? 89 Fox is right, you might have already fouled the plugs out if they arent gapped right.
