Default audio clip of h pipe, does it sound right???

here is a clip of my o/r h with flow 40s.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PejgEvVsV7U

that popping has occurred since i put the 40 series on, it only usually does it when its cold for some reason. my buddy with an f150 says his does it to, so i'm not sure. anyway, i got an interior part too.

you can't hear the popping in this. it only does it when i'm driving for some reason, and its only when the rpms are from 1200-1800, after that it stops. i only have one of the o2 sensors in, because i can't get the other one out of the stock h-pipe. do you think having that open o2 hole, that it could be making the popping sound i here???

not having the o2 in there will cause more than an exhaust leak. that entire side of the motor is now running richer to compensate for no readings.

it is always hard to diagnose things when you already know you have a major problem... definately fix the o2 sensor and then if it still does it you have a problem

Did you try getting the sensor off with an O2 sensor socket (its got a slit in it for the wiring)?

Its not a good idea to drive around without an O2 sensor even if thats not causing the popping.

not to be a smartass...but drill a hole in your neck and see if you could breathe right...just go buy a new O2 sensor...2 new ones if ya can and it will help...

ok, so i put the o2 sensor back on and its running 40x better now, and it sounds a lot better too. all of the noise went away. i'll try to get another audio clip up later.

for those wondering, i didn't have an o2 sensor on that side because i could get the old one off the stock pipe. but today i got the right wrench and got it off. its only been like 2 days
