what is this car going to be used for if for the street I could see using the TFS stage 1 cam but if its a drag car that you arent planning of doing much more to it then get a custom one if you are planning on getting the power that you are looking for.

better heads and a less ****ty cam would make more power...

when are people going to learn that TW heads suck?
That's basically what I said in my first reply, but I put it in nicer terms. Only problem with that is that people end up wasting $2,200+ on the Trick Flow top end kit only to have to buy a different head and camshaft down the road.

Holley kit is ok if ur just trying to get it done fast and only use 1 company for everything. Should have pieced it together prob end up cheaper but would have given you more gain then any H/C/I kit out there. Im also with yall TF heads just blow high ports are ok but all and all TF is bascily crap(besides there box intake) i love it.

Very nice setup you got there. Give us some shots of the engine bay!

But to get to your question... without forced induction or nitrous, there's not much you can do that won't take away from previous purchases. For example, ditching the Trick Flow heads for a nice set of AFR heads. That would be a nice increase but it involves you losing the heads you paid for. Same thing with teh camshaft... swapping it out with a custom grind.

Something you can do... you can look into ditching th 1.6 RRs and getting 1.7s. That will help a little. And even that won't be a huge gain. I didn't see any mention of having it tuned. That always helps. You've bolted on pretty much everything you can at this point. Like i said before, if you want a big jump in numbers it's going to be pricey from here on. You could always stroke it out to a 347. Of you could increase the compression and run some higher octane fuel.

Why do you want to avoid a supercharger?
The AFR 185's are nice heads BUT......they actually flow worse under .600 lift than TFS high port heads. @.600 and above theyre ever so slightly better by a couple of CFM nothing drastic though.
But either way, AFR 185's or TFS high ports would be a VERY good addition to his combo.

Heres the link to the flowbench results
http://www.trickflow.com/product/for...rt_airflow.asp
NOTE: Tests conducted at 28" of water (pressure); exhaust with 2" pipe.

heres the link to the cnc ported version-
http://www.trickflow.com/product/for...nc_airflow.asp
The numbers on the ported version are clazy. www.engrish.com

I compared it to the AFR's, its kind of hard to compare them. AFR used a .060 block, and a smaller diameter pipe, which can increase flow rates. Makes it kind of difficult to make an accurate comparision.
