most people running the trickflow setup cant get more than 290rwhp from it....
I was making 276 on gt-40 parts..... 14hp just doesnt seem to be worth $2200 to me

Dont buy "kits" they suck *****. Simply mix and match parts to get the most power. The problem with teh TFS kit is the twisted wedge heads. They suck [:'(]. Their old school "High Port" head is MUCH better.

RE: edelbrock
the TFS kit is made for the average "slap it together because I dont know any better" person.
between my heads, $962, cam, $200, intake, $450, lifters and pushrods, $200, and gaskets, $150, and my timing chain $20
I spent ~$2000 and i'm expecting in the area of 325rwhp from my build

RE: edelbrock
im on the rhs website now....how did you get your pair of heads for 962. i dont see any heads for 481 each? did you call and order them? the cheapest i can find is 853 and im assuming thats each.
i want a really good package, but i thought i would be up in the 3-4k range, but if your doing it for about the same price as the TFS-POS kit...[sm=lol.gif]...i think i should look a little harder
