how do i eliminate or take taway the o2 sensors so that my check engine light will stay off on my 89 mustang

Are you sure it's the O2 sensors that are causing the CEL to light up?.....if they are.....

what code are you getting?
and you shouldn't "get rid" of your o2's.... mat not ride very well! Fix the problem, don't avoid it!

I guess that if this were strictly a strip car and he wanted to force it into open loop 100% of the time, then he could tune it and eliminate the O2 sensors. But I have a feeling that this is not a 100% strip car.
