Well I plan on building it up over time, sooner or later new heads and cam, all that good stuff. What size exhaust would be good for now and then, so i dont have to replace it later? Or if i do have to what exhaust would be best for basically a stock 5.0 with a couple bolt ons.Thats all i plan on doing to power output for now.

1 5/8" equal length shorties w/ 2 1/2" collectors
2 1/2" mid pipe
2 1/2" cat back w/ 3" tips

this'll handle 450hp... easily

Is there anything to worry about with backpressure? Powerloss?

no i have a stock 302 with minor bolt ons and the car pulls good and runs very smooth.thats the same size i and about 40 other people i know have with between 200-500hp... specific brands and styles are up to you....

for ease of application shorties, 1 5/8. just your stanard. 2 1/2 inch headers back. this is what people normally use. i hear that long tubes help a little bit but minimal unless your hittin 400+ you should be able to rip it apart and have it done before lunch
