Default N20 Question

I have a 95 GT and im thinking about putting it on the bottle. I have a friend with a brand new zex kit with bottle warmer, purge kit, and pressure gauge, and he wants to sell it to me for 500 bucks. All this would retail for around 950 dollars, but he drives a 2001 GT. I hate to pass up this deal, so i was wondering what, if any, kind of troubles i would run into if i used his kit while installing it?
Thanks

a 95gt has a 5.0.

a 2001 GT has a 4.6.

the nitrous kit for both those cars are different and not swappable (except for like the bottle and some switches).

i would be careful with your "friend", either he doesnt know what hes talking about or hes trying to **** you.

just buy a kit designed for your car, im not a nitrous expert but i can say that trying to use a 4.6 kit on a 5.0 might not be worth the trouble.

Pass on it. It would be a big PITA. Go with a dry kit such as the NOS05115 kit that is specifically designed for the 5.0 liter Ford. I bought a kit used and have no more than $400 in the whole thing. You can but it new for around $480, or check eBay for some god deals.

I have to say it is a fair deal, and the only difference is the adapter to the throttle body. A bottle is a bottle, and a line is a line. Solnoids work in every car, and the only difference would be the plate with the nozzles. Bottle heaters are hard to come by for a good deal, and you need a guage or two. I'd say get it, and order a spray plate for your car.

might consider taking it, just offer him a lil less and tell him you gotta get a new adapter and what not.... it is a great brand for sure

500 is worth the price. most Zex kits are dry. that dude who stated its completely is different is completely wrong. the zex kit actually can be put on my truck to my cavailer to his mustang. all it does is go off your TBS nothing else. Please do more research before making a falsified statement.
