Running Better Without my MAF Sensor?

RE: Running Better Without my MAF Sensor?
i wouldn't bother with a q tip, brake/carb/maf cleaner will work fine. wonder if you have the wrong sampling tube... are there any numbers, markings or indicators on the tube?

no, not until you figure our your maf... it's gotta be something simple, a cobra intake and some injectors shouldn't require a dyno tune (wouldn't hurt) but shouldn't be needed, try to get a hold ofa known good MAF cal'd for 24's... any friends who have one?

When he was talking about the sampling tube I think he was confused about what type of MAF you have, C&L uses a sampling tube, you have a Pro-M which does not use a sampling tube so disregard that. I'm not sure what your problem is but I can tell you that your Throttle body is way too big, for your set up 75mm is too much, 65mm would be perfect, even 70 would be pushing it. If you go with a set of wild heads then you may need 75mm but for now...too much! Just my 2 cents

no the sampling tube is the small diameter tube inside the MAF tube, where the MAF wires are located, a certain volume of air is sent through that siameter and then converted to 0-5 or 1-5 volts (cant remeber) and that is used to determine how much fuel the car needs to maintain a proper A/F ratio... It should be held in with two allen head screws.
