I have a 93 5.0 with a stock bottom end on it. I have a TFS stage one cam and im looking to go bigger. I dont have heads right now but plan on going with the roush 180s and they have a 1.90/1.60 valve size. the cam im looking at is from CHP and the #s on the cam are 222/232 with a .510/.534 lift and a lope seperation of 112. let me know what u guys think. Is this too big?
My recommendation would be to call Anderson Ford Motorsports and inquire about their nitrous cams. That .534 lift is pushing it on stock heads/pistions.
now days thier isn't much difference in the mild nitrous cams if any...now when you go in the .700 lift range then yes.......street cams today are made to help various combos with the same cam...lunati can made you one for around 300.00
