AODE Transmission Cooler!

AODE Transmission Cooler!
Hi there everyone. I own a 95 mustang GT with AODE. My problem is that appearently, my AODE has a shift kit in it. I guess the previous owner installed it and did'nt let me know when he sold it to me. The problem is that my transmission is very brutal when shifting between 1st and 2nd gear. I understand that is not much a problem as this is what shiftkits are for, so the shifting is not smooth, I can live with that. The problem is that in the summer days, when its pretty darn hot outside, my transmission behaves even wierder (not sure if this word exists) but sometimes, when I want to accelerate from dead stop, my transmission will pop off 1st gear and go to neutral by itself, but thel lever does not move, so this happens inside the tranny. Then it goes into gear again, but since it had poped off gear, this let the engine rev up really quick, so when it goes back into gear, well, a huge jump happens. Its sortoff like reving you engine and puting it on drive right away. I've been suggested it is due to the shift kit not handaling the hot weather, so they suggested a transmission cooler.
do you guys think this may fix the problem, a transmission cooler?????
Any input will be appriciated.

RE: AODE Transmission Cooler!
Does this only do it when it's hot? I've never seen anything like that. Who installed the shift kit? I'm wodnering if someone screwed it up or of something broke loose. I have an AODE in my 95GT. But about two weeks after getting the shift kit in, I dropped in a supercharger and tranny cooler so I never got to really feel it without the cooler.
What color is the fluid? My car would shudder a bit before the shift kit. But then I had it flushed (not changed, fludshed) That helped a LOT.

RE: AODE Transmission Cooler!
Well, im talking 105 to 117 outside temperature. The tranny already had the shift kit installed when I purchased it from the previous owner so I have no idea who may have installed it. I did'nt even know it had a shift kit untile I changed the transmission fluid and filter a year ago. She will only do it when it is within those temperatures mentioned above.

maby the clutches or little diodes or piston thingy's are getting too hot. get a cooler and see if that helps. btw i have a B&M cooler that it brand new, never used, i just took it out the box to look at it, and i might want to get a bigger one for my car with a fan, so let me kno if ya want mine.
