As my signature says"Eating Honda's and Shi*ing rice!" All our 5.0's need to get their daily allowance of rice!! Like everyone else says' motor for motor those rice baggers have nothing on us! Thats probably why they dont like mustangs-because they know they can get their a**es kicked by them. Just my $.02 worth. I mean every timeI hear those fart cans it makes me puke a little in my mouth. How can those guys think their car sounds cool?? I've heard nails being scraped across a chalkboard that sounded better than those weedeaters!!!

Depending on what they have done to their cars it's quite possible you will loose after your motor is done, there are some fast imports out there. On the other hand if it's just some stupid kids putting turbos on their civics then you will probably take them no problem.

5.0's like everyone else said they are easy to mod at a low cost. You can go to the junkyard and get parts. Good luck and fivepointohhh all the way.
Good luck.

sure the 5.0 is a great engine.... but its not exactly the powerhouse you guys make it out to be.

And the biggest reason why import drivers think mustangs suck, is because the owners are arrogant. Try showing them a little respect and they will tell you that they actually like your car. Most imports like to race mustangs because it gives them a good performance benchmark

there is no way a rice burner witgh 10 g's into the motor can beat a 5.0 with 5 g's. even with the subaru look 25000 milles llater they have to do complete rebuild especially if they race them

a decent wrx with a decent driver is a hell of a solid car though... the awd helps majorly with the launch... but like everyone says you can buy a old fox for what 3-5k, then put 5k or less into it and still laugh as you drive by the 30k+ dollar wrx thier daddy paid for.
