Default Holley Heads

Can anyone with these heads or had them tell me what arp cylinder head bolts to use or studs? Just something that i could at least cross reference too. Also what guideplates you used with them?

should be standard 302 arp bolts or studs, if the holes are larger (which they probably are) you want the stepped bushing/washer things too. hell, should be standard guideplates too for that matter

arp301-31. That's the part number for head studs. I used them on my car. The holes in the head are 1/2 holes. The guide washer that comes with the stud will need to be pounded into the head with a hammer, use a brass or dead blow hammer if possible. They fit tight. Torque to 90 ft/lbs. Step torque ie 20, 40, 60, 80, then end with 90. That's what I did on my car. I have the systemax II package, ported and polished making 320whp. I've had no probs with anything. There you go. Now where's my six pack[8D]

Hahah, I can't remember the part number, but I think it's just a factory head gasket. I know I'm using felpro. I believe the guide plates i'm using came with the heads. I also don't remember on that. I've had these heads for a few years. The reason I remember the part number on the studs is I called arp and had that number saved on my computer. I ordered them from summit and haven't had a leak. My buddy just order the same kit and should be here tomorrow. I'll ask him if they are the same (him and I built my engine) and let you know then. Sorry i'm not much help there :/

Hold on man, arp154-4005 is the correct number. I was looking at the wrong file for my jeep . Feel like an *** now.

Go to summit and type 154-4005 and that should be it there.

Sorry again and good luck. I'm sure holley will tell you the same on their tech line. ARP should also be able to verify
