Default supercharger questions

do i need to convert to mass air in order to run a supercharger? i have a 87 with speed density, can i use the speed density or do i have to CONVERT?

no, but it would make it a lot easier considering speed density measures the air in the intake manifold and if you run a supercharger with boost and dif densitys it will make it much more dificult to tune, although if you get a standa lone like an aem computer then its completely diffferent, i would say contact local tuners and ask them for the best and correct answer. Most around here dont like to mess with speed density.

Factory speed density ain't great, but a lot of aftermarket setups are speed density. If you do go blown with SD make sure you have a MAP sensor that'll read in the range you're boosting
