oooh another question... this is a 1994, so I have the T5 manual transmission, correct? How do I go about correcting the speedometer?

To change the axles you are going to need a 31 spline positraction unit. If you don't mind a traction loc they can be bought on ebay resonably cheap. Those cars have speedometer gears that can be changed to correct it.

will get pix when the satellite stops acting up... i can barely respond to this thread like I have been, let alone upload a picture...

well, at least i'll order the ring and pinion gears and get those on the way. I know doin the rear end won't be cheap so I figure i'll piece it together one part at a time as my wallet allows and install all at once...
