Speedometer on crack?

Like the title says my speedometer has been goin crazy lately. When I get to around 60-70mph the speedo acts likes it on crack... But then other times it's fine. Whats goin on with my speedo?

welcome to the world of the ford speedo... mine bounces around pretty bad if i accelerate too fast.

Change your spedo cable. Not sure how its done, but I know it fixes it.

yea, change your cable, its pretty easy, if its that then your lucky... but pretty good chance your gauge is at fault..... if thats the case i got a stock gauge cluster outa a 88 you could have for close to nothing
