hmm well we got it to fire up for a few seconds.. if you gave it a little gas it would rev up but if you gave it alot it would sputter then stall out but now we cant start it again....... fuel filter is a few months old too

ok well i dont have any of that stuff... but i did check where you would put the fuel gage.. i spurted gas on my hand.. maybe i have a clogged filter? its fairly new but you never know with this ethanol crap..
guess im gonna have to ride my bike to my summer course (15-20 min away) and hope it doesnt start to rain...... which it kinda looks like it wants to.. oh well

RE: wont start.. ugh
could this have something to do with my egr valve? i brought it to a shop a while ago and he said my erg valve wasnt closing properly, because of some excess scillicone but he said he fixed it and a little while later i get the 31 code.. cuz as of right now it starts sorta and it runs alright i give it a little gas and it goes up in rpm fine.. but if i give it alot it like pauses and seems like its gonna stall so i let off..
this is a vid i just took

could be a mass air meter problem by the way it sounds try cleaning the mass air meter with a cleaner (found at any parts store) plus without putting a gauge on the test port it'll be hard to eliminate a low fuel pressure problem/weak pump[&:]

does the car idle smooth??? if so I would rule out an egr valve stuck open you may have a lean condition or an o/2 sensor problem if you have a scanner I'd run a koer test

with the fuel pressure regulator line being capped off I 'd really be suspicious of a fuel system problem in your car go to autozone and on their rent a tool program the should lend you one you'll get the money back when you return the tool!!!

ok so it kinda runs w/ it plugged and when its connected it backfired and died.. the first vid was w/ it plugged and the 2nd was w/ it connected.... gotta love fuel issues... oh and i had it plugged in for about a month until today and then when it wouldnt start i plugged it back up and it kinda ran... so im guessing its gotta be that and possibly a clogged fuel filter even tho its only a couple months old.. and im gonna rent that gauge tomorrow.. so ill let you guys kno
