altinator question

Default altinator question

I wan t to run a one wire altinator . What would I have to do to make it work . Will my trunk mount battery interfer with instalation ?

no it wont interfere, I just converted my 85 to a one wire Pending on the year for me on the 85 had an external regulator if this is your case unplug it!! if not don't worry about it. I used a powermaster 100 amp and ran the one wire to the always hot side of the fender mount starter relay/selonoid, which inturn has a wire that goes all the way back to the trunk where my optima battery is mounted. just make sure all your grounds are intact but the whole one wire/self exciting alternator works great and simple hook up!!!
