pulled codes, now what?
so i was bored and pulled the codes a few minutes ago... grounded the self test in and counted "check egnine" light blinks.
aaaand it came to KOEO 34 and CM 33. which are PFE or EVP circuit above the closed limit of 0.67 volts (code 34) and EGR valve opening not detected (code 33), if i'm not mistaken.
they both make sense, sort of. but i don't know what the PFE or EVP circuit is... the egr code is pretty much self explanitory.
alright. how do i fix those problems, if they are problems?

RE: pulled codes, now what?
The EVP (EGR Valve Position sensor) is the white piece ontop of the EGR valve. Pull the plug and check it for corrosion. If thats good clean the EGR. Remove it and spray it real good with carb cleaner and work the plunger back and forth to, or just soak it in a pan with cleaner. Heavy carbon buildup can cause the plunger in the EGR to stick. The EVP gets its reading from how far the plunger in the EGR itself moves.
Clean it reset the computer and see what happens.

RE: pulled codes, now what?
Any EGR related code will not cause driveability or start problems....the system will only delete/bypass the EGR function automatically.....now, if a code 31 or 35 is accompanied by TPS and BP codes, it could cause a no start problem.
