RE: Drag Radial NT555R Help
I have only done it once with eachbut with Nittos and BFGsI had a 1.58 60'. On a regular basis I have sub 1.65 60'. I like drag radials but conditions have to be just right to have great 60' times. For solid hook all the time you just can't beat ET Streets or Quick Time Pros.

RE: Drag Radial NT555R Help
Last time out I went 1.5x 6 out of 7 runs. On the slow run I went 1.7x. This was with the M/T dr. I would not bother with a ET Street at this point, I never really had great luck with them. M/T dr's have gone well into the 8's

I really haven't taken it to the track since the blower, but like I said, I'm not making all that much power.

So what tires would you guys recommendgetting for a street car (dr)?

Let me recap... Nitto NT Drag Radials = NO (they suck).... MT Drag Radial = GOOD (street and awesome 60fts).... Hoosier Drag Radials = GOOD...
That's the just of it... Just stay away from Nitto Drag Radials, I used them once at the track and I think my BFG KDW street tires are softer than those peices of ****.

RE: Drag Radial NT555R Help
I have to disagree with the nitto DR sucking, i think it's a great street tire. Ontop of that it's sticky enough to hold an 11 sec car on the road, i think thats decent. I mean, if you want the most out of your car at the track then the nitto is not what u want, but for a good street tire that has decent traction compared to a normal street tire, plus its pretty cheap, i think it's a good combo.
