i paid about 800 bucks for a nice head job from thumper.... and i got no horsepower gains at the tuner today.... so personally i would have rather spend aother 400 bucks and got AFR heads... hell if u want ill sell u m gt-40s with thumper porting and polish work for 800 bucks plus shipping... im not sayin it was the heads... cuz i dont have ne proof... but 242 is diffenetly a stock number for a cobra stock they get 240hp so i didnt get much.... so i have aobut 30-35hp over stock... and i have full bolt ons which could have probaby made 30hp by themselves... so yea... id diffenetely would say away form E7s... just get AFRs

Are the RHS head really any good? I was considerting buying their heads. I got a typhoon intake, frpp ceramic headers,70mm throttle body with the erg plate, adjust fuel press regulator, new 70mm MAF,a 3 inch crank pulley, and a mac CAI kit and 3:55 gears that need to be installed. DO you think a set of RHS headswould be good with what I got?

I have a set of Thumpers. They perform well, but they are not good bang for the buck.
did you notice a big difference by using the thumper heads? why do you say it's not a good bang for the buck? they are only like 500 bucks
They are not like $500. They are $595 setup for up to .500 lift cams (E cam or less), PLUS a $100 core charge. That's $695. If you don't want to pay the $100 core charge, you can mail him your heads. Ever mailed a pair of IRON heads? You aren't going to be saving much. If you want the heads good to .600 lift (which is what pretty much EVERYONE should be buying), they are $695 PLUS $100 core charge. That's $795. Who thinks paying almost $800 for a set of E7s is good bang for the buck?

when the e7's flow just as good as AFR 165's. PLUS i'm not planning to pay a another $300-500 to have the AFR's ported to flow better... Just wasn't in anything I could afford budget wise.
Are you crazy? Thumper E7s won't hold a candle to a set of box stock AFR 165s.

That's what I thought but supposedly the flow rate is the same according tovarious people. Thumper didn't say that but I probably should have gotten some GT40P's instead... I'm already having remorse with all this talk about the E7's being crap...

I didn't have to ship my heads, I live in Florida and when I went to visit my sister I picked up the heads... Also I had the lower intake gasket matched to the heads.
