white grayish color sounds like a possible leaking head gasket, but it could also be from a slightly rich fuel mixture. usually the lighter smoke comes from coolant entering the cylinder and being burned with the fuel and then exiting through the exhaust via the exhaust valve, oil passing by the rings and entering the cylinder will do this also. when you rev it up does it pop any through the exhaust or have any poping through the exhaust during deceleration?

I thought of head gaskets too but no peanut butter in oil or radiator, and temp gauge reading normal.
