whats that place that sells the GT40 and GT40P heads with big valves and stiff springs for cheap? adder knows what im taking about but i cant remember the name.

that might be an option if your looking to score some good heads for cheap - and yes the thumper ported heads do very well from what everyone says

I have a set of Thumpers. They perform well, but they are not good bang for the buck.

did you notice a big difference by using the thumper heads? why do you say it's not a good bang for the buck? they are only like 500 bucks

+1

I just got my ported e7's install from him, i'm about to get the car running from the HCI hopefully tomorrow. Anyways I have the ported e7's, e303 cam, new timing chain, trickflow upper/lower street intake and 24lb injectors. I'm hoping I notice a big difference but i'm going to put some 4.10 gears or possible 4.30's in the rear to help my aod.

Also note... I've only spent $1600 total on my HCI swap... With that I got Trickflow Upper/Lower Street, Ported e7's, timing chain, 24lb injectors, e303 cam, ALL gaskets, and new head bolts and so on. I didn't want to spend $2200 total when the e7's flow just as good as AFR 165's. PLUS i'm not planning to pay a another $300-500 to have the AFR's ported to flow better... Just wasn't in anything I could afford budget wise. I'm just hoping it's worth it!
