Default this might sound dumb but

my buddy is selling his 88 thunderbird turbo coupe to his bro and his bro is just gonna rip out the motor and put in a v8 so he told me if i want it i can have the turbo off it and its a perfect running car, but will the turbo be able to be put on a 5.0 more specifically an 89 gt, cause if it will fit i think it gives 14 lbs of boost and hey free turbo

with custom piping and headers it will work. I think Muscle Mustang and fast Fords did a junk yard turbo build up in the past year in an issue. Cant remember which month

less than 14 lbs. The cfm wont be the same on a 5.0 as in a 2.3 or 3.4 or whatever engine it came off of. Its smaller, makes more boost on the smaller engine. oyud have to go shorty headers, I would love to see a set of longtubes poking up. hehe
