hello everyone...i know i know dont use the 7.5...but i was wondering if anyone still has one in theirs from the 4 cylinder conversion? i have almost everything for the swap except for the rear and i was wondering how long it would stand up 2 the 5.0. Will i be ably to daily drive it without busting it? lke not getting on it hard until i get the 8.8? thanks

if it is in good condition and you dont beat it you will be fine. look into a new or used 8.8 as soon as you can tho

ok thats what i figured...another quick ? a guy is tryin to sell a 7.5 from an svo....i know they are posi and have gears and are suppose to be better...just wondering if that would hold up or should i just look for 8.8? thanks

If it's the complete rearend, it's 5-lug and has disc brakes. If you arent going to change the front to 5 lug, then there's not much difference other than 3.55 gears.. I think. The 7.5 will hold up fine, unless the car hooks hard.

yea i knew it was five lug....well i dont think i wanna take the risk so if anyone in north carolina has an 8.8 with mayb some 355s or 373s in it let me know thanks
