get aftermarket lower control arms then throw the quads away with the brackets

in my fox body i threw them right out. The only trouble i had is in the rain in reverse and i spun the wheels. But how often do you do that. also jst dont do it...

quad shocks were there to lessen the effects of wheelhop that you get from the lower control arms flexing under a high load. Aftermarket boxed or tubular control arms don't flex, therefore quad shocks arent needed.

how big of a tire could u fit in if u did this? would it give you a rougher ride?

without my quad shocks I'm running a 28" x 10.5" wide slick on a 15x8 wheel with the stock backspacing which seems to be about as wide as you can go back there on my '88 hatch.

cool, so whats that like a 275??? what side affects will i have if i remover my quad shock??? will i still have any shocks or no?
