Default dent pullers

anyone know where i can find one of the newer style of dent pullers? The one that welds the stud to the dent then pulls the stud, then grind the stud off instead of drilling? thanks

how big of a dent are we talking? any pics? Some decent sized dents can be removed with a hair dryer and a can of compressed air (the air you use to clean keyboards, etc.)

For the hell of it, i tried it on a decent sized dent on my Geo Tracker and it actually worked, lol. Not sure it would work with huge dents with creases, but I was impresed.

Ok im not sure where to buy one... But i know exactly what it is and how it works.. I was in Auto Body for 5 years so here ya go.. Its called a "Stud Gun".. And what you do is grind the area down, Then you put a stud in the gun and you push it onto the metal where you wish to pull out.. Then you just push/pull the trigger/button.. It welds the stud on the metal.. Now all you have to do is put the dent puller on the stud and pop the dent to the desired position you want.. You may have to do it more then one time especially on bigger dents.. Then when your satisfied and finished pulling the dent out you cut the studs and then grind the welds down.. Then you do the finish work, body filler, polyester putty, primer, paint.. Hope that helps.. Im gonna try to find where to buy them as well..
