Default fuel starvation ????

im getting ready to finally finish my engine, but with gas prices being as high as they are I was wondering if running my engine lean to conserve gas would damage/burn the valves?

The engine is a 302 bored 60 over with a b303 cam, speedpro hypereutectice pistons w/coted skirts, shorty headers, and stock heads with biggest valves possible, crank ground .10

Lean is not healthy....if you want to save on gas....buy yourself a beater for daily driving...and drive the Stang on the weekends...
