have it put on a lift and see if the frame is straight, the outside looks mean pretty much nothing, most cars up for sale look good on the outside its the headaches they wind up giving you as you get to "know" the car that usually have you kickin yourself for jumpin into it. trust me i looked long and hard and i thought i got a pretty good deal. then no sooner than i bought mine i started seeing awesome deals on some fine lookin stangs all over the place kinda pissed me off. but I havent had any mechanical problems since i bought it so i'm pleased and that only because i learned about what to look for before i went and look at different ones out there. If only i had found this forum before i might have held off because i have had a pretty hard time figurin out what the frickin problem with my idle is but other than that its been good to me. I just drive it from cleveland to florida with no probs. your best bet is to find one with less miles and with a clean carfax, or at least no major accidents...good luck, and remember patience is a virtue
