The never ending Head thread
To go along with my current mods, what would be the best heads to go with? Would trick flow be better since I already have trickflow intake and what not or are AFR's best or what? Sorry I know this has been gone over a million times, just want an answer specific to my setup.

I am assuming when you say track heat cam, you mean stage 2. I have stage 2 cam with the street intake and TFS track heat heads. It runs real strong all the way to redline. I actually run out of intake. I need to switch to the track heat intake. I would go with TFSTWor AFR 185s personally. Mine made 302 RWHP, 335 RWTQ. Like I said, I think I will actuallymake more power with a better top end intake.

What's the price diff. between the twisted wedge and afrs? Does either one flow better? I'm lookin for somethin to match my intake good so it'll pull all the way up there.

I talked to an old-timer at the machine shop...he said STAY AWAY FROM EDDYS!!
He sat me there for 20 minutes describing how bad they are....cheap springs, cheap valves, the heads need to be re-machined....it was like Owner of Edlebrock knocked up his daughter and left her on the side of the road
He did say AFRs were number 1, TrickFlow and Canfields were just behind...He sh*t all over Darts too!
I went with the TrickFlows...and they are GREAT!

somebody is not going to like something. i have them, i like them, if i had something to compare them with that would be great, but i dont have that luxury. i havent heard anything bad really about eddys so i figured what the heck, they cant be that bad, eddy has been around a long time, so far im not disapointed. once i pull this motor out ill either find A. killed piston ring which is most likely, B. burnt valve/not seating correctly or C. blown head gasket. im leaning toward the rings, but if its the valve i will think twice about eddy heads.
