Default Is anyone Running this same combo? 94' cobra

I would like to know if any one is running the same combo I am about to go with my cobra and if so what kind of luck they have with it. I am taking heads from a 93' cobra and they are being completly gone through and redone with larger valves, better springs and a good p/p I am having the same done with my manifold, I am giong to also install the TF stage 1 cam 1.6 RR 70mm TB and Mass Air and full exhaust. I am going to start this coming weekend and just would like to see if there are any heads up the I sould look for. Thanks

I'm not a big fan of that camshaft, but that's a decent combo.

How much are the heads and all the work to them going to cost?

i have a similar setup only i have a custom cam from jay. had some problems with it but im working them out. My setup is good for 300rwhp N/A at least in the neighborhood. my engine looks stock however, just a paint. Who is doin you intake and head work, and i agree with samseed that can needs to go, unless you have already bought it then you stuck with it. Id go to camshaftinnovations.com and emial jay and set youself up with a custom cam. Hell i had problems and he help me out so i should be seeing more hp once i get it fixed up.

opinions on products are like fads, they change overnight. i thought almost everyone loved the tf stage 1 cam. sure it is not a custom cam, but for an off the shelf i heard i was nice. i am about to buy one myself.

+1 it really does seem like opinions change everyday on here, I just say stick to your budget and make sure everything works in the same rpm range and you should be happy.

what works for one!! doesn't always work for another. if there was just one perfect combo out there everyones car would be boring!! that's what makes the mustang so great!! it's rare you ever find two cars with the same combo. I have 3 mustangs and all three have diffrent combos one has a comp cam the other a ford racing cam and the last a crane cam......

amen, altough i would imagine getting a custom grinded cam would be the best for your setup cause isnt that really why people get them?

How much are the heads and all the work to them going to cost? I am a lucky man, my step Dad does all the head work for one of the local shops here in town so as far as the cost on the head and intake work I think will only run @ 300 for the new springs and valves. I too think that everyone has their own luck with combos and everyone likes new things I dont have the time to wait for the custom cam because of being in the military I am away from family and the shop so I have to do the work on the time I have.. so for now I will have a " stock looking" cobra lol its kinda cool for now I hope to reach 300rwhp so we will see she is going to go on the dyno b4 and after
