why does my battery keep dying?
i just got a new battery like 2 days ago and i know its not the alternator cause i just bought a new one not to long ago. my car will run for like 15 min then the battery will start to go down head unit turns off then couple mins later the car just dyes....Would it be the connection maybe thats the only other thing i could think of???? plzz somebody help me out if youve had this problem before thanks.

Start checking all you grounds first, then check any power connections. It could be a fusible link... Either way, get yourself a decent digital voltmeter and start checking your wiring. Btw not all new alternators are good working units when you buy them..... Another reason for the volt meter.

You can get them any where from 20 bucks on up. I paid 160 for mine but I do several different things with electronics. Make sure it has volts, ohms and I always like it to have the beep test (findsout if you havecontinuity from one side of the wire to the other.)
