Default quad shocks

I just recently purchased some adjustable upper and lower control arms. I was thinking about removing my rear quad shocks. I also have some 275/50/15 tires to put on. I was originally going to reverse the quad shocks, but I heard you can just take them off with aftermarket arms... do you think that would cause any problems?

thequads hardly do much anyways....once you upgrade your control arms...they are useless and extra weight....

stang8689 do they help with wheel hop? I read somewhere where:
"Removing the quad shocks will also allow for additional axle housing rotation, which will further lower 60-foot times."

Quad shocks are useless if you have any power. Uppers and lowers will be a huge improvement over stock. If you havnt already you can get torque box reinforcements and weld them in as well as weld up your axle tubes and get a rear end girdle, it works for me.
