Default bigger injectors with this combo?

will i need bigger than stock injectors with this combo?

'95 vert
gt-40 or typhoon intake
gt-40 heads
steeda #19 cam (i probably have to use this because of the crappy sn-95 computer right?)
70mm TB
plus all the basic bolt-ons (cai, u/d's, exhaust, etc)

will that make enough HP to justify 24lb injectors? i would rather not have the extra expense...

Doing some quick calculations, with your setup the stock 19# injectors should be able to support about 240 HP... that's including a safety margin of about 25%. The stock fuel pump will suffice. If you plan on going over the 240 mark anytime soon, then it may be worth it to just upgrade them now. You should be able to get a cheap 24# set from either a Cobra or from someone who upgraded.

BTW, you won't be disappointed with the Steeda #19. Nice computer-friendly camshaft.

yeah thats what i was thinking about the camshaft...i would like something more but from what i've heard, these are pretty much made to keep our crap-*** computers calm, so until i can afford a tweecer i'll probably go with that. unless...do you think its worth getting a tweecer before i upgrade everything?

i might want to just upgrade my injectorswhen i do the H/C/Ii guess, just to be on the safe side [:@]. of course, that means i need to re-calibrate my MAF at the same time, but that's no big deal.

If you are indeed oging to get a Tweecer, then do it the same time you get the H/C/I done so that you can save money and recalibrate the computer for the new injectors yourself. If you leave the stock 70mm MAF on there you won't even have to screw with the MAF transfer... just the injector size and settings.

Don't underestimate the Steeda #19. It may not be a super aggressive camshaft, but it's still a really good choice. I run one by choice. Adder runs the same one is his Cobra. Im pretty sure Jasperstang runs it in his SN95 as well.

Sure, it's not as good as a custom grind, but it's pretty damned good. Don't underestiamte it just because it's computer friendly

well i have the C&L 76mm MAF, so the only expense there would be the little calibration tube that they sell...i think they're fairly cheap right? i'm building the car up on kind of a tight budget (hence the irongt40 heads), so i would rather hold off on the tweecer if at all possible for now. and when i do get one, i'm sure i'll be PMing you at least five times a day for your help

Yeah. Just change the tube for the C&L and you'll be good to go. I'm not sure of the exact prive new, but I've seen them for around $30 or so before on eBay. I'm not sure if that was average or a great deal because I've never checked them out before. Only came across it while looking for a new MAF.
