also check wires to make sure they have not wore bare anyware fromrestingagainst/to close toheader, keep your wires separated with wire seperaters so voltage doesnt jump wires, pull your spark plugs to see if any of them have foulded out, make sure you have the wires in proper firing order on the distributor cap,check the gaps on all of your plugs and make sure they are within factory recommendation with a feeler gauge, clean your battery terminals and other grounds, have your battery and alternator checked out for free at autozone or wherever, just because it will starttime and time againdoesnt mean it wont die if the alternator or batteryare bad

I replaced my distributor when i had the problem. My distributor was so whopped out you could actually watch the cap wobble while the car was running. I also turned my idle up a little.
