yup, i know, i just thought mine wouldnt be shiftin into overdrive cuse its doi like 70@ 2k
2,000 rpm at 70 mph is about right for the AOD with 2.73 gears in overdrive, that's what mine did with stock size tires. when I changed to the 3.73 gears, my rpm went up to about 2,300 rpm in overdrive with them. and I agree with your choice of 3.73's instead of 4.10's if you expect to get any decent gas mileage while crusing too.

Man, where did I read that it came with 3.08?? LIES!!!

Anyway, it seems I'm not the only one that thought that, so obviously there must be some kind of reference material that wrongfully states the stock gears for AOD was 3.08. Oh well, thanks for clearing that up.

I'm thinking about going 3.55's, that should still give me a performance boost and even less of a gas mileage hit right? I travel on the highway A LOT.
