3k? come on... that must be a bulletproof tranny good to 800ftlbs

yes, it is a bulletproof tranny. I will check my o2 sensors when it cools. Idk about the heat shields b/c I have catless exhaust. The throwout bearings were replaced. I had to buy a new bellhousing with the tranny.

you should check your o2 sensors. i heard somewhere................. someone said they could loosen. not a big fan of dumps, but you sure wont here your rattle anymore.!!! i would guess 3k for a tranny would be 1500 for the ford replacement part and 1500 labor. cause anyone that has built a car knows every nut and bolt of his/her stang. believe me ive been down to a hull, and back up again.

nope. about 2500 for tranny and bellhousing. the tranny is a bulletproof tranny. and about 300 for labor. I just rounded up to 3k.

I guess everyone must think i am an idiot(so does my wife), here is the story behind the multiple post. I am a civil service employee at Robins AFB, my computer at work has always let me browse this site but never post, so yesterday i thought i would give it another try. I was able to sign in and post, WoooHoooo, your tax dollars at work!!! Today i try to post and when i would hit the ok button i would get the same screen i used to get saying website has been blocked because of yada, yada, yada. Well i am persistent so i kept doing it, obviously about 4 or 5 times. Well now i see that even though the comp. kept saying website is blocked it looks like it really wasnt. My apologies.
