try cleaning the iac motor and make sure linkage / cable isn't binding if all that fails try a KOER test whick will evaluate the efficiency of all components on fuel injection system maybe lightly tap on iac motor with a small hammmer and see if it idles down

that or a small vacuum leak will do it. 5.0 = synonomous for vacuum leaks and idle issues.

You could also check the green lead of the tps, stick a probe in the wire and ground the other lead to the car on your meter, it should be somewhere around .098 volts. You could try and lower the idle with the idle screw also.

I have cleaned the IAC along with my throttle body and I also set my TPS to .098 volts. I did however make my own restrictor plate for my car so that when I shift my idle comes down right away once I push the clutch down and let my foot off the gas. I don't know if this would cause my idle to be high but I thought there was just a screw or something that I could adjust to bring down the idle.

I also did a KOER and a KOEO and nothing came up.

the idle set screw is below the throttle body..so it onlyidles high when warm?

well when i firststart it up it goes from like 1300-1500 rpm and then after about 30-60 seconds it goes down to 1000-1200 rpm. and then even when the engine has been running for quite some time it will still stay the same :S it might go down to like 900 rpm sometimes but not always
