Best change for my dollar
I'm looking for what would be the best modification for my car that would be the best bang for my buck. Right now my 95 GT has a cold air intake, 75mm trottle body, 2.5" flowmasters. I imagine at most that increased my output 40hp, but what could I look for under a grand that would help my performance the best? I know the heads are misreable on the 5.0 but I think heads like the AFR 165cc would be out of my price range, what should I do?

atLEAST 35!!
no but seriously it all depends what you want to do with the car.. drag or street (sounds like you want a street car)
As stated above gears are the best bang for your buck:
373's for stick
410's for auto
Deff start thinking about the rear end (control arms, subframe connectors, tires) if you have any plans to make power since you can have all the power in the world but it means nothing if you cant put it to the ground.
subframe connectors, torque box re-inforcements, upper/lower control arms, gears then possibly sticky tires and call it a day
Have fun!
Edit: if you just want to go fast, throw a 125 shot on there!

wouldnt a simple retune do wonders for that car? especially if its an automatic.

Oh yeah I left out the tune, it was awhile ago though or I guess it could use a tune up, also it is a manual. Also the rear gear stock right now so I guess it makes sense to change it to a 3.55, I plan on driving it everyday, it gets alot better mileage than my truck.
