Default trans. problems?

well, this past christmas, I got a steeda tri-ax shifter for my stang. it was very easy to install and for the first day or two, it was fine. The more I started to drive my car, I noticed that 2nd gear was grinding. I thought it was the shifter, so I but the stock one back on. no fix! I then figured that it was a syncro, so I learned to baby it into 2nd, but whats the fun in that right. I can "easly" put it into 2nd and no grind but if I take it past 3k rpm's and quickly put it in 2nd(like it should be done in a mustang!) it grinds all to h*ll! I have been driving it like this for approx. 3 weeks and now my 1st gear grinds when am at a stop and normally put it into gear.UHHHHH I just got all the syncro's replaced last spring. could it be gone already???? should I rip apart the trans. again or what?

no, it first happened a couple days after the steeda shifter was installed. its not the shifter though because we took the steeda off and put the stock back on and it still was grinding. its got to be the "synchronizers".
