Walbro 255lph GSS340, I've never had an issue with it. Go with the 255 lph, there's no reason not to on a return style fuel system.
Pretty much the same thing I was going to say. They're fairly cheap and it leaves you room to upgrade. No sense wasting money on a 110, then a 190, then a 225, then a 255 as you decide that you want more mods. You can get a good 255lph pump for about $100.

there is no such thing as "my fuel pump is too big!"

You kids need to read a little closer no one said expecially me that a 255 lph pump is bad or even to big....as a matter of fact I run one but I also don't run the stock line anymore. besides when your car is under500 or so hp the stock lines will be probably okay... anyway the issue being talked about is the availible capacity for flow to take place through the stock lines because believe me there is a limit and it wouldn't matter how big a pump you bought because 3/8 has it's limit as does 5/16 line for fuel volume flow to occur....it's kind of like me giving you a garden hose and I tell you to plug it into the fire hydrant and tell you to fill my 500 gallon pool in one hour... will it happen now if I give you a fire hose and tell you to do the same thing think it'll work?. anyway nuff said new topic.

i think we are aware that no one said its bad or too big. i think the subject changed during conversation to, any drawbacks? i pretty sure adder and samseed are aware of the limits of the stock fuel line, and i'm sure most poeple with common sense would come to this acknowledgment. i dunno i think people take tooooo much interpretation in writing.

Actually, it's you that may need to read more closely. Look at what creekrat said:
bigger pumps than you actually need create more heat and can lead to shortened pump life.
And that is what we were replying to. I thought it was rather obvious. He was giving a reason why going too big could be bad. I was simply stating that it's not that big of a deal. A good pump can handle it, the fule keeps it cool, and they're so cheap to begis with that it's no big issue.

No offense taken samseedbut if you follow all the replies back they go to 92hatch who inturn replied to me so I think you may understand why I thought people were jabbing at me. basically it is a chain with the trickle down effect. had every one clicked on the reply button to creekrat instead of the reply to next thread no inferences would be made. anyway hind sight is 20/20 and I concure with you that it's not a big issue to use a 255lph in fact I think to many people often worry about what pump to choose on mostly stock and mildly modded cars. anyway have a nice day

That's just because that dumbass hasn't figured out how to properly use the "reply" button in forums yet. But I see your point.

I read on the Kenne Bell site that having a fuel pump thats too large will tend to heat the fuel up more, which decreases its octane.
