Flex-a-Lite VSC

Has anyone had experience with the Flex-a-Lite Variable Speed Control? I want to use it when I install my Taurus fan inplace of using a regular fan setup that uses a 30 amp relay and is at a preset temp. I know www.dccontrol.com is probably the best way to go but Im not sure I wanna wait that long to get all this stuff installed. I guess Im just wondering if the Taurus fan will put to much of a load on the VSC and burn it out since most people say they upgrade to a 75 amp relay when installing a Taurus fan.

I went with dcc, I have to wait 4 weeks but it will be worth it. It is built with quality and that is why they take some time to make. I also like how the dcc slowly throttles the fan up and only goes as fast as it needs when cooling... No extra relays needed as well.

It seems like the VSC does something like that starting at 60% and ramping up to 100% as needed, and the soft start feature. Which model DCC did you go with? I was kinda weary about using the 35 amp one since people say the taurus fan draws allot when it first kicks on. Id go with a DCC BUT I wanna get all this stuff put on in the next week or so ( waiting on my 3g alt from Adder ) can hit the drags up again, my stock fan clutch is locked up and the fan is starting to come apart on me.
