I thought you had to measure pushrod length?

Am I wrong about this?

So that you'll have the correct length?

Isn't that why they sell tools to measure the correct length?

the FMS hardened pushrods to replace stock are 6.272". $45 is a pretty good price for them; summit has them for the same and http://www.gefracing.com has them for $38. CompCams also has some that have the ends welded on instead of crimped (like FMS) and i've seen them for around $35 lots of places. They're only 6.25" though, so i dont know if they'd work or not. Hope that helps....

you do need to maesure pushrod length to get max length. on my 408 i run a 8.350 and stock its like 8.000 adn my cam is 614/621 and stock is like 450/450, maesuring is a good way to maximize the vavle travle.
