ok i see, yea he needs to drop the pressure in them too. you have to burn them for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnggggg time. try like 8-10 seconds to start out. the 5 second burnouts werent doing anything for me. yea i didnt know what track he was running at niether. that track must really suck cause in my old 5.0 i was running about your(91hatchgt) same exact mods and hit a 14.5 at 96mph on street tires. get the underdrive pullies they help alot throughout the whole rpm range and take about 45 min to install with an air compressor. did you bypass the smog pump yet?

When I went I was pretty dissapointed in my times, 14.6 was my best and 2.1 60' times, well for my mods I was thinking I should atleast be low 14's with the street tires.
basic mods are
4.10's
full exhaust
pullies
subframes
lower control arms
eibach springs
lowered
shocks
no front sway bar
CAI
BFG street tires 245's
dont you think I should atleast be in low 14's, though My average 60' were 2.3X,

Yeah.. I was thinking after my mods and when I get my 4.10's that I will be at a 14.5... My 60ft's are 2.2's w/ 3.08's... Should be lower with the 4.10's.. That's probably your main problem. Think you will be able to go next friday? I want some break in time for the gears just in case.

possible not because Im going to spend all my money on a TB, and then Ill have no money for slicks or gas or entree fee.I live 1hr from there and I have to fuel up my tank. 4.10's arent great on the highway. Sad to say because my parent wont let me go and burn off my street tires. So I NEED A JOB,LOL. I think ill start looking for a job then mod the F*ck outa my car and go to the track every frinday.

No, no one ever reads. The times were at LACR. LACR is a track Located in the Antelope Valley, which holds the records for the dryest heat in the world. It is all desert. 1st off, the track is slightly uphill, and very dusty seeing how it is placed in the middle of the desert.

From LACR, if I did the equation I would be running about a 14.4 right now. A 15.2 from a basically stock stang is pretty good here..
