Default Track Updates

Hey all, I dropped almost another half second tonight. I took the tire pressure down to 22 PSI.. Here's the rundown.

Completely Stock Bald Tires: 16.4 @ 84MPH
Completely Stock New Tires: 15.631 @ 88.26MPH
Full Exhaust, BBK CAI same tires: 15.255 @ 90.211

Mind you that this is all at LACR, not a very good track. I think if I removed the spare, and all the other extra crap I have in my car, I may be able to hit a 15.1 or 15.0 .. My best 60ft. was a 2.265 ... I hit a 9.7 @ 71.5 in the 1/8...

hey update here to.. i had my worst 60' times ever which were 2.65 all night and i was stuck in the 15.6s all night but i did run my highest mph which was a 92.111.. i found that i was spinning all the way past the 60' and i had wheel hop all the way down the 330(well a little further but just so you get the idea) i need that locker and the bfg or nitto drags... not the best track times or night for me but i was happy about breaking into the 92mph range...

Yep 6 runs, I dont know, I think maybe with a few more passes we could have all improved our times a little more. It is always fun when you go to the track, and every run you get a little faster, wish you could have been there man, was a lot of fun! Bunch of mustangs too! Lets go next friday!

Stanger GT. dude those times are what you should be running stock with the nittos. my 98 gt witha vortech and exhaust ran a 13.9 with a 2.15 60 ft(which is slow for the setup). you need to check out the supercharger asap!

StangTang, I know what you mean, he was having terrible tire spin on the dusty track at LACR, although he didn't really heat them up. It was his first time to the track, it only gets better after you work out the first trip bugs.
