They are big in the modular world. The just got into the pushrod business. My NX sales rep also reps them. I was offered a fairly decent buy in price, but I didn't think they were a big enough name to get into. I don't do much modular stuff.

always remember you get what you pay for.. AFR is the best thing you can do. Im in the process of getting afr's right now. every person I have asked says afr is hands down the best choice there is.

RHS heads outflow AFR heads by quite a bit, and they're cheaper

i agree.. my gt-40s flow just as good if not better than 165s.. and i save 500-600 bucks.... there are tons of good heads out there... none of which are really cheap... that is the down fall of a head swap... there pretty pricy when i get anotehr mustang im goin with cainfield heads from jay allen... along with one of his cams as well... good guy sells great stuff... i hear a lotta people can get some good numbers out of ported twisted wedges... but u have to go throug hte truoble of porting them so you may not what that... i also havent hard nething bad about RHS like mattdel stated so id look into them... AFR doesnt make bad heads... but they arent worth the price.. there just a well known name so it makes people feel better knowing there buy a produce that is that popular... and people have gotten good results so they arent crap... but 1200-1400 bucks for a set of heads is kinda price... i got custom ported heads and a custom cam with a ported to match intake for 1500... and all you goin to get is heads that flow no better than mine... but hey you choice... i would do more research tho... email jay if u want... camshaftinnovations.com is his site... check it out... very smart guy

muscle mustangs and fast fords just used these heads not to long ago . along with steeda #18 cam 1.6 roller rockers, jlt cai, 70mm throttle body 73mm mass air and bbk long tubes and reached 302hp and put down 344ftlbs of torque not bad if you ask me for the amount of money spent

Ive got the heads but yet to put them on a engine. The heads are not the best in the world. If you get the heads i reccommend getting a bare set and doing the valve train yourself and portin on the heads a bit. The valvetrain on the assembled heads suck so im installing the comp cams valve train kit that comes with there cam. And i have a buddy who is working the heads over for me. I should still have less in these then a set of afrs and they should flow around the same.

Magazines help sponsors sell parts.

Here is what I think: You get what you pay for period.
