if you wanted to bore your 302 to a 306 can you use your stock crankshaft i ask because this kid has and f150 pickup truck and he says he has a 347 in it with "keithblack pistons" anyone here of them i think he ment keithcraft. He also says he kept his stock crankshaft just wondering if you can do that

keith black pistons are very nice

but he's lying about the stroker. only thing you can do while keeping a stock crank is an overbore
0.030 is a 306
anymore than that, your risking terrible things on a stock block

347 is a 0.030 overbore with an extra inch of crankshaft stroke

KB pistons are hyper's made by silvolite that used to have serious quality issues but i have heard they straightened themselves out. call them a good "bang for the buck" piston

you can offset grind a stock crank or even have it welded and reground to make a stroker not very common in the 5.0 world now or even any other motor now days with so many crank kits out there. Keith black has been around longer then most of you guys have been alive LOL.they also offer Forged pistons also and aftermarket Hemi motors to top fuel teams and the like if you got $40,000 laying around to have them help you out. any how sounds like the guy is full of BS to me,

All of the 347's I've heard of use a 3.400 stroke with a 4.030 bore. Also, they are not using the factory rod either...........
